Rubber Stamping Fun

I wanted to share this awesome letter I received from Rubber Stamping Fun. I am very excited!

Dear Stamper,

CONGRATULATIONS! I had a chance to look over your submission and take a look at the site you provided for our Stamp Review Program and I am pleased to let you know that you are now a stamp reviewer! Thanks so much for taking the time to signup and tell us a little bit more about yourself.

The program is very simple and straightforward, and I should mention that it is a pilot program...what some folks would call a Beta program. We're just beginning this program and we are so glad you can join us. The program will certainly morph and change for the better as we perfect it.

If you've already had a chance to read the first email I sent you after you signed up, then you have an idea about how this program works. If you haven't had a chance to read that email, I encourage you to look over that one first, since it contains some important introductory information.

Our designers are busy with some incredible new stamp sets...and I hope you like them and enjoy stamping with them! Of course, the only way we can get you started receiving stamps is for you to let us know where we need to ship the stamps. Can you take a minute and tell us your shipping address so we know where to send the stamps? Tell Us Your Shipping Information

Once you give us your shipping address, you'll start receiving stamp sets in the mail over the next few months. Have a blast! Truly! We want you to enjoy them, share them with friends, and make some incredible projects...just as if you had purchased them.

Sometime within 60 days of receiving them, would you kindly put a review, photos of your artwork, etc. on your blog, website, or gallery page. We are NOT asking you to become a salesman...and we expect an honest review, nothing more...

I'm not into rules, and guidelines restrict creativity 99% of the time! Here are some more specific IDEAS for reviewing these stamp sets.

> Did you make a card or scrapbook page with the stamps? Do you mind posting it on your blog, website, etc? Somewhere in the body, can you put a link to any page at www.rubberstampingfun.com so your readers know where they can buy these types of stamps?

> Simply take a photo of the stamp set, and put something as generic as "Just received these new stamps from Rubber Stamping Fun. Look forward to trying them out soon."

> Post a card or project to a gallery, and simply put a link to Rubber Stamping Fun in the "products used" section. NOTE: Please observe all rules and policies of other company forums. If you think your link or post will be removed, please find another way to review the set.

> You can simply put a review style post in a blog: "Well, I got another stamp set from Rubber Stamping Fun. I'm not to crazy about this set. I'll see what creative thing I can come up with. Blah Blah Blah"

You get the idea I'm sure. There are tons of ways to provide a "review" for any product. Find something that works for you and fits into your stamping lifestyle...keep it natural, we're not asking for a "hard sell"!

The only thing we will be looking for is some type of activity for each set we send with a link to some page on our website so those folks reading or viewing know where to go to purchase stamps like these...

I should probably make that point a little clearer. This is probably my favorite part of the program. You will be receiving stamp sets that are NOT YET AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. We want to take the feedback of everyone involved, improve the sets when needed, and THEN release them to the public. (this process may take days, weeks, or months...depending on the sets and the feedback) How cool is that? That's why we "hand picked" you in the first place...we really liked your style and projects, and we are going to highly value your "stamping opinion". The neatest thing about the program is that you will be taking the creativity of stamping to a whole new level....you're actually having a part in improving the stamps!

I'll be sure to let you know as soon as each reviewed set is available to the public so you can let your readers know. We have some special things we are developing just for your "audience"! More on that later.

Oops...I almost forgot. If you'd rather not participate in the program anymore, or just don't have the time to mention of the products and link from your blog, website, gallery page, etc., then you can either email me and let me know, or simply stop reviewing the products we send. We'll be watching your site. If after 60 days we haven't heard from you or haven't spotted your link and review of the products, we'll take that as a friendly, "Not interested in the program anymore".

That's it! (I hope you're not as tired of reading this and I am of typing!) We really hope you enjoy the stamps. We're going to have a great time reading your reviews, whether they come in the form of a card, scrapbook page, write-up, or single sentence.

I'm setting up a special email just for you. You can email me directly at reviewer@rubberstampingfun.com. I'll personally read every email that comes to that address. Questions, suggestions, ideas, problems, etc...send me an email. I'd love to hear from you. I'll do my best to give you a prompt reply!

Happy Stamping Until Then,

P.S. If you email me in the next few days, and you don't hear anything, please be patient with me...my wife is going to have our third little angel any day now...

P.S.S. I know that I said I was going to give you a sneak peak of the first set you will be receiving in this email...I lied. I'm going to make you wait just a little more...I have a special surprise for you...(ah shucks...that just isn't fair is it!!!)
