Landscapes are challenging

I don't think I have ever created anything resembling a landscape before. Why did I try now? Because I have these stamps and felt obligated to ink them up. How's that for a good reason ;-)

So here is my first attempt with the landscape.

And could I leave well enough alone? Well of course not. A glass of wine later and I decided they needed some cheesy embellishments. Not sure how many pirate ships or treasures you will find next to a lighthouse like this but use your imagination. I think the pirate looking guy tag from the mystery swap affected my mood here. Ah well.

Love this landscape Debbie...and love the accents....so this is how you stay creative....have wine and then finish the card?....allright...going to try that..yum...love wine.
