Sorting through ribbon yesterday I didn't have the heart to throw away all the short pieces. I hate throwing anything away. So I decided to make a couple of ribbon cards with images from the Hearts In Touch #125 Flower Sheet. All papers on this particular card are from Paper Temptress. The base is Opal Metallic and the flower is stamped and colored on Candido Incandescent Text which was then sponged with yellow. This was my first attempt with prismas and gamsol. I have quite a bit of practice needed but it was fun.
This card also uses an image from Hearts In Touch #125 Flower Sheet. The image is embossed on an alcohol ink background.
Also, I am thrilled and honored to announce that I am now part of the wonderful design team at Hearts In Touch. If you read my blog you know that I use HIT images regularly and this is really just a thrill for me. Be sure to visit HIT and check out all the wonderfrul stamps they have to offer.
Have a terrific day!

Great way to use up small ribbon pieces Debby! I LOVE your second card! The colors are fantastic!
You call those short pieces? *LOL*

What fabulous cards and even more fabulous ribbon idea! I even like the way you've got them hanging! Mine are wrapped around bobbins in clear plastic boxes labeled, by color in a drawer, but I like your idea better!
And...... BIG CONGRATS on the HIT DT! They KNOW they've got a great designer with you! Good show, GF!
Hugs,
Congratulations on being chosen as a new DT member!!! You deserve it as you make such beautiful cards, like these ribbon ones!!! Great job!

Good grief how much ribbon stash have you got?! :0)
Lovely cards, you'll have to make a few hundred more before you dent that stash though ;)
