The title of your post reminds me of a sad story. When I was in the 5th grade I had my very first male teacher. I thought he was a dream and had a major crush - until one day -
He said to the class "We all know what a hero is, but who knows what we call female heroes?" I thought about it for a minute, raised my hand and said "She-roes?" He thought I was being a smart alec and made me go stand in the hall! I never liked that teacher again. See? told you it was sad.
