Squigglefly Challenge #3

Kim From My Stamp Room suggested the Squigglefly Challenge #3.

Make a card using the colors, chocolate chip, bordering blue and pretty in pink.

I used the Tribal Rose from the Tribal Flourish Pack and colored with SU markers. I love this combo. I really had fun with it.

Head on over to the Squigglefly Blog to see the projects that the featured designers have created! AND....play along. Let me know that you did and share a link and you will get a surprise from me!!!!

This is beautiful. The grossgrain & ribbon fray because your scissors are not sharp enough. When I cut ribbon with my Kai scissors - a big UGH! But when I cut with my Fiskars, I get a clean cut. The trick is to add a little clear glue to the ends too. Hope this helps.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend.

What a beautiful card, lovely colours aren't they?

Buy some Fraycheck for your ribbon, but the tip about sharp scissors is a good one :)

LOL on the ribbon...sry, but that happens to me too...I advise a good pair of scissors and in the sewing dept. they have some stuff to stop fraying, but I don't know what it is called. This card is just plain elegant...just the perfect amount of embellies :)

This is rather nice. You can't go wrong with those colours, they set off the rose relly well.
