Card using various background panels for a challenge on the Hearts In Touch yahoo group. Look to my sidebar for a link to join. The panels are all variations of techniques I have seen or read about. I do not lay claim to any of them. I will try to supply links when I can.
The left top panel is Wax Paper Batik. The top right panel is various glimmer mists with webbing spray and gold leaf foil applied to the wet spray. The bottom left panel is corrugated cardboard with various tissue paper applied with matte medium and acrylic paints. The bottom right panel is a layered acrylic/gesso technique. A variation can be found here.
The focal image is from Hearts In Touch #137 HIT / Antique Swirls.
No idear where the gold paper came from as the card base. I added Copic Spica gold to the stamped image and used a Krylon gold leafing pen around the scallops of the nestie. The score lines at the bottom of the card were made using my scor-pal. Misc doo dads at the bottom.
Okay. this took me days to write. And I keep looking at it. Did I explain everything? Is it clear? Is it okay? Writing a lot and talking are not my strong points. I am the strong silent kind I guess :-). Hope you all enjoy anyways. Have a terrific day!
