Sadly today is my last day as a guest designer for Artistic Outpost. I have so enjoyed this experience and I love the stamps and I have made many wonderful friends. Thank you Robyn and everyone at Artistic Outpost for giving me this opportunity.
I thought it only appropriate that my card today include the first stamp set I ever purchased from Artistic Outpost. That set is Happiness.
This is one of my first cards with this gorgeous set. And I do believe it is one of the cards I submitted for guest designer consideration.
So with my exit I thought I would use the same set.
Many of you know I love embossing powder so lots of it here. I dabbed distress inks on to a craft sheet, misted with water then gently placed and twisted my Sparkle Blanc paper. (All papers are from Paper Temptress). Didn't have to dry too long. then I stamped my image from the Happiness plate with Versafine and clear embossed. I then dipped the edges of that in Versamark and dipped in black embossing powder and heat set.
I layered on Pearlescent Venus Violet, (oh my goodness the Pearlescent papers are a MUST HAVE) dipped the edges in Versamark and gold embossing powder and heat set.
I then took the Pearlescent Lunar Blue and dipped the edges in Veramark and purple embossing powder. Then I took a paintbrush with large bristles and dipped in to Versmark and sort of dabbed it all over the card then sprinkled gold embossing powder over it and heat set.
Sounds like a lot but it's really not. You can't go wrong with great images and great paper.
So....it's been a great journey and experience with Artistic Outpost. I will forever remember the experience and forever be a fan of Artistic Outpost stamps. :-)
I hope you will pay them a visit and perhaps you will fall in love too.
