Duh Moment

Wednesday February 24 Gingersnap Creations posted the following challenge:

GC44: Random Redhead Challenge - Birthday

Wow! In five days, Gingersnap Creations will be a year old! Unbelievable! That's why this month's Random Redhead Challenge is to make a Birthday Greeting!

Oops. I forgot to post my challenge card. Don't you hate it when work interferes with play time? Better late then never though right.

For my challenge card I stamped the Solid Sequin Waste from The Artistic Stamper with yellow acrylic ink onto a patterned paper that I didn't really like the color of. I then randomly stamped Flower Power images from The Artistic Stamper on the background piece, layered on black and yellow basis papers from Paper Temptress. added a few silver brads, dipped the edges of the card base in silver metallic acrylic paint then dipped in utee and over heated to give the drippy effect. Best Wishes sentiment is from the 20's Ladies Plate from The Artistic Stamper.

I hope you can take time to visit Gingersnap Creations to view all the other fabulous Birthday Creations. While there be sure to check out Joanne's tutorial Tag in A Card, Reasons to Stamp in March and Guide to Our Interviews.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a terrific weekend.
