Today Is? :/

Guess what today is. Go ahead. No...it's not my birthday. I don't have those anymore. No it's not garbage day. That's Thursday. No it's not pizza day. That's Friday. Today is  Flutter By Wednesday!

This challenge is an open challenge. That means do whatever floats your boat, makes the sun shine and puts a smile on your face. Do the colors, layout and embellies you like as long as your creation includes a butterfly, fairy or angel.

My Flutter By is a 5x5, planned that way of course. I have my image cut out on cling foam so I placed it on a block and randomly tapped distress inks over the image. I then spritzed gold Smooch Spritz on the stamp itself and then stamped on Ivory CS. My beee-utiful image is from Hearts In Touch #131 Butterfly Wishes. Then I poured clear embossing powder over the whole thing and heat embossed. Big surprise for me I know. You need to try it! Just a world of difference for me.

I layered on olive SU cardstock and 7 gypsies Gypsy Market. The flowers are from Prima. Floss from Scrappers Floss (Brown) and the little buttah-fly ffrom Pixie Press. I lastly spritzed Gold Smooch Spritz on the whole card and walked away to make din din. The results when I returned were far prettier then expected. Different angles show a different perspective I guess is what you would call it. Very pretty for me. And the cool thing is the longer it set the more it shimmered! My goodness. I will take another picture tomorrow. No kidding. Crazy.

Please do play along! It's great fun to see all the different personalities, images & techniques. See you there!

Hope you have a billowing butterfly day :-)
