I use Tria Pantone Markers by Letraset. The are made in England. I love the fine tipped and medium tipped end. I don't use the chisel end. I have the old style markers, the new ones have a brush tip. I prefer the old ones.
I actually have the big pack of SU markers...you know the ones you have to hide the receipt from hubby because it's a little rediculous to pay that much for them!? I like them because they are double sided and if you don't press your pen straight up and down, the pen's shape lasts a long time. I think I've had them for about 1-2 years now and haven't had to replace them. I've used some really crappy pens from Michael's. Dried out super fast and they weren't cheap either. I like the Spica Pens because they are glittery, but they aren't markers so coloring takes a bit longer. Yeah...that's all I have to say about that. =P Thanks for the tag!
I have copics, SU, Zig and copic Spica's. I use the Spica on every card I make. The SU are easier to use than the copic but the copic colors are brighter. If I don't use the copic's for a while I tend to forget how lightly I have to touch them to the paper. I have the sketch markers though, not the ciao so maybe that makes the difference in touch. Right now I have been using pencils with mineral spirits on everything---with the Spica's for highlighting. Pretty much a non-answer LOL. I should go into politics.
I have a wide collection of markers that I havent gotten the hang of using just yet. lol I have Zip, SU, various ones from HL and Michaels and several Copics. I guess I just need to practice more. I love the vibrant colors and wide variety Copic offers. Not to mention, I can buy them here one at a time instead of in a set online. I'm sure once I practice more, I'll get better.
i have tombow and i got the bic marks a lot markers about a month ago. i love them. i'm not a fan of the su markers. i love prismacolors too, but they are too pricey.
